In The Gifts of Imperfection, Brene Brown, a leading expert on shame, authenticity, and belonging, shares ten guideposts on the power of Wholehearted living, a way of engaging with the world from a place of worthiness.
The book is well-written, clear, and offers solid suggestions for how to move toward the goal of wholehearted living, her term and one I really like. Dr. Brown is a researcher who discovered along the way that the most meaningful data is found in story and she has learned to convey her messages combining her research and personal stories. It works. I'm glad I found her work and look forward to hearing much more from her. She has other books as well.
